The Bride from the wedding below requested a black cake(caribbean rum cake) to honor her husband's Guyanese heritage. A sheet cake was made in order to be cut up, and placed in favor boxes for the weddings guests.

Here is the sheet cake, which has a simple white lace design. We were able to fill 100 favor boxes with this sheet cake. Moreover, we had a sizable piece of cake left over.


Here is the wax paper used to wrap the cake after it was cut. This step is recommended for any cakes used as a favor.


The next picture shows the size of each slice of cake.
